Senior Survey Technician
The successful candidate will work with and support an experienced survey team assisting in the preparation of construction stakeout computations, stakeout diagrams, cut sheets, boundary and ALTA Land Title Surveys, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, record plats, easement plats and legal descriptions.
Daily tasks will include survey computations for construction stakeout, boundary and topographic surveys, scheduling and communicating workload status, AutoCAD layout and drafting and research of land records.
Survey Instrument Person – Entry Level
The successful candidate will work with and support a seasoned Survey Crew Chief(s) in the field to ensure that projects are completed safely, accurately, and professionally. The Crew Chief will act as mentor and actively train the candidate for a career in land surveying. You may continue with a career path in the field and become a Crew Chief, or transition into the office where you’ll draft, manage projects, and potentially become a licensed land surveyor.
Daily tasks will include downloading point files to and from the data collector and the computer, making sure the field truck is stocked, assist in performing field tasks as directed by the Crew Chief.
Typical projects include control, boundary, topographic, utility, ALTA, verification, and monitor surveying. We collect field data using survey grade equipment, including conventional total stations. We work with engineers, architects, landscape architects, developers, and public agencies. Travel is required to and from job sites.
Civil Site Engineer
The successful candidate will have three (3) or more years of experience in civil site engineering preferably in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Typical projects include residential and commercial site plans. Experience with design and plan preparation for site layout, roads, grading, water/sanitary/storm drain facilities is required. Work includes the preparation of concept, preliminary and final plans.
